Paw Patrol DIY Birthday Party

Make Your Own Paw Patrol Badges {or Necklaces}

Perfect Paw Patrol Favors or Crafts

Easy crafts for paw patrol

I know, I know... you can go to the party section of any big-box store and find plenty of Paw Patrol paraphernalia, but I always like to add a little personalized love to my kids' birthday parties. So when Chase asked for a Paw Patrol theme, I raided the foam section at the craft store and whipped up a whole lot of these!

Full Disclosure: I'm happy to now be a Dollar Tree affiliate (yay!), which means I help them highlight some products in exchange for a small percentage (about 4%) of any sales originating from my blog. Psst... I'll likely spend any money I make right back at the craft store ;)

We used the badges as welcome gifts/favors, and the kids loved that they could choose which pup they wanted to represent (I made several of each color). We had a lot of girls at the party, too, so we made sure to stock plenty of Skye and Everest badges!

You'll have to go around and do some trimming once you're done putting the pieces together--hence, the SHARP scissors. Luckily, the foam is pretty forgiving. And clearly, none of the badges are perfect, but they were cute enough for the kids.

Paw Patrol Ideas for Kids Presents

Aaaaaand, because no Paw Patrol birthday would be complete with out a Paw Patrol cake...

Dog Theme Birthday Party Cake

Yes, I know... any bakery could do a million times better with it, but I hate spending money on cakes when the kids mostly just lick off the frosting and leave the rest anyway! So I just made this simple cake and topped it off with a Chase figurine. Baking is NOT my specialty, clearly... but here's how I got the dog bone shape, if you want to try it yourself (that idea was not mine, (saw it here on Pinterest)!

 We finished off the evening by roasting marshmallows, which is always a crowd-pleaser.

Skye and Everest Paw Patrol

 All I needed to see were those happy faces, and I could call the Paw Patrol party a success.
